Probably the CD. Sounds like the download was
corrupted. Only other option is your keyboard ( based on the info in your post
). Download the ISO file again, and
if this is your first install...I suggest using RECOMMENDED...it should
do all the rest

while it is installing the pkgs it say it does
not know how to handle an error.
