I run Mandrake on a G4. For some reason, I was never able to get OpenFirmware
to boot Linux by default as soon as I turn it on. So when I turn on the
computer, I go into OpenFirmware, then type (according to the number of my
boot partition):
boot hd:9,\\yaboot
