I have a question...I am using linux on two diff servers...mandrake on one and sorcery linux on another one. I have the same .bashrc file for both and I am not sure as to why the colors will work on mandrake but not on sorcery linux...any ideas? What other info do you need from me to let me know

The Mandrake tools are written using GTK. This means that you will have to change your GTK theme (different from KDE themes) to affect them. KDE2 has an option in their Control Centre to apply themes to non-KDE applications. You can use this, or you can install a proper GTK theme using the GNO

Can anyone please offer some advice on how to change the color scheme for rpmdrake or MandrakeUpdate? I realize this isn't that essentially of a request, but my eyes are really sensitive and I keep the rest of my desktop pretty dark until I start either of these apps. Then I get fairly blinded.
