All,

I am having trouble with my linux-mandrake 8.0 install.

I am attempting to install Linux Mandrake in a dual
boot format. I have a system with two disks (hda,
hdd). hda contains windows and I am installing mandrake on
hdd. I have gone through the install process twice now and
it does not appear to have any problems until I hit the area
where it tries to create a boot disk. I answer the questsion
and it seems to accept everything but it never writes anything
to the floppy. It asks me to insert the floppy in device sda.
I see no way of changing the floppy device. I can access the
floppy and write to it from windows, and even boot off the boot
floppy that comes with the package.

Later when it asks to write the boot loader, I can get it to write
to the floppy (/dev/fd0) but I then cannot boot off of the floppy
(during lilo it stops a L 07 07 ...)

How do I create a boot floppy so that I can boot from the linux drive?

(hopefully without having to install everything again)

    Thanks
    Tom
