My computer is a compaq deskpro with a built in PCI NIC (PCNET PCI AMD) with a pentium 120Mhz I use my NIC to connect to my ADSL ISP. It worked ok with W98. I totally erased the HD to install a Mandrake 7.2. The hardware detection seemed to be ok, my NIC is recognised as an "AMD LANCE and PCnet". But when I use the ADSL wizard, it ends with a message "Not ethernet adpater". Has anyone a clue?
