I was having trouble figuring everything out too...
Even Linux for Dummies was kinda advanced :-)
So I got the book "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Linux"...
And I'm just starting to figure this thing out :-)

Can anyone recommend a good book for a Microsoft oriented techician who is
trying to learn the concepts and how-to's
of Linux (not something too technical but rather a book in easy
terminology)
