Don't know what to tell you man. It worked for me
"out of the box". Anybody else have any insight?

user. I created a Program.kdelnk and deleted it due to errors. I get
many mime errors when the user virtual desktop begins.
I am wondering if I should change ownership to user? I'm still learning
the commands.

I did that. However, when I log in as user, I get many 'kde errors'
referring to missing entries to mime=... entry. I have to click on the
OK button several times.
I deleted the link but the error keep popping up. There must be a
configuration file that I cannot find... well not find it. I just do
