I received notice today that the new font server is out - which one does
Mandrake 7.1 use?
I checked out the screenshots on www.freetype.org and they are now

Mandrake kernel - one with framebuffer support (which I have installed)

I have the same problem with Boot Magic not being able to recognize or
start Linux, though I haven't figured a fix for this yet. I believe you
can get lilo to run again by booting into linux with your boot disk,
setting up your /etc/lilo.conf, and then running lilo.
