hmmm Well, all I can say is that, for me, running KDE is a problem (lots of crashes), but no problem running any of the apps (including konqueror), outside of it. Did you do an upgrade or a fresh install? I had a lot of problems when I did an upgrade, fixed by doing a completely clean install.

I agree with you entirely. I *was* under the impression, however, that I was maintaining my system rather well, and that my hardware is of good quality (I made sure to choose each and every component of my computer myself, after careful research). KDE2 is the only group of programmes I have pro
