Is there any way to have kmail send a message at some defined time in the
future?
I often write a message that I don't want sent until a specified time. MS
Exchange allows a message not to be sent before a specified time, but I
haven't found a similar feature (yet) in kmail.

pulled up knode and I have the same reaction when trying to start a new
article as I do when trying to start a new message in kmail. All other
functions
Since I can't add to this from Kmail I'll have to do it from Mozilla.
All other functions of Kmail work, ie..my imap folders are still
working, I can still go into kmail settings, I can still read mail, I
just can't start a new message, fwd, or reply to one. I'm sure that

Kmail has refused to start new messages or to fwd them. The hourglass
just continued to turn over an over and there is no response from Kmail

this morning kmail would not download any messages after i d/l my mail using
tbird ,kmail went back to working btw there were 175 messages in the in box
I would use tbird exclusevily but I can't get it to sort the incoming mail
into folders

When I boot into LM10 I have been getting a 'KMail can't start because it's
already on a process as shown in the lock file' type message. I initially
tried to 'kill' the process but it isn't acutally running. So I just delete

Well I figured out that kmail was contained in kdenetwork so I
uninstalled it, then reinstalled kdenetwork. Didn't make any
difference. I have also uninstalled XFree86, by moving to CLI stopping
X with top. Running urpme to remove X, a couple of programs wouldnt
allow that reinstalled wit
