I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say.
If you're looking for a shortcut to kill locked jobs,
there's a cute little skull and crossbones link on
your desktop that you can use to kill dead or stuck
windows should that occur (rare). Otherwise, you can
kill a job in console.

'ctrl-alt-backspace' have done that before and think this is what has
caused some of the probs I have experienced in the last 2 weeks. Thank
You for the response. I would recommend anyone that is having a prob
with their system hanging and cannot use the keyboard or mouse do the
"OFF" thingy and
I've had certain programs hang in X too.
One thing you can try is ctrl-alt-backspace, and that
will usually kick you back out to a command prompt.
