I am trying to install Lothar RPM using Mandrake 7.02 and KDE, but it has a
required dependency with libdetect.so.0 (which is apparently not on my
system). I cannot find this on this distribution CD??? Can anyone offer

Has anybody got Lothar to detect (create a working /etc/isapnp.conf file)
for the onboard sound chips (CMI-8330) on a PC-Chips M590 motherboard?
Disabaling PNP in the Bios and configuring the soundcard manualy, or through
sndconfig, works, but you are then unable to boot back to windows as i
