[newbie] Mandrake 9.0, Linksys Wireless WPM11 V3 PCMCIA Card

I have installed Mandrake 9.0 on my Sony Vaio Laptop with a Linksys Wireless WPM11 V3 PCMCIA card. I have searched all the forums for information, and there is alot of it, some of which seems conflicting. I am very new to Linux and need step-by-step instructions on how to get my card to work properly in Linux. The first problem is that when I boot Linux with the card installed, I get the message: ... Starting PCMCIA cardmgr[871]: unsupported card in socket 0 My kernel is: 2.4.19-16mdk Any ideas on where I should go next? Thanks! Mark
