For the past few days, Mandrake has been shutting down with no action from me.
This can happen at any time , at any duration of uptime.
It can stay up for minutes..or hours..or days.
The only clue I can find is from the system log as follows:
Sep 22 14:19:36 Eclipse mdkkdm[1572]: X server
