well supposedly the coexant pci modem is linux compatible with a little tweaking but i tried to install my files and i have them unzipped in a directory and the read me file says use the "make install" command well mandrake tells me no such command so how am i supposed to install this file whic

fricken frackin win modem!! yes i share your problems at first i thought mine wasnt but i found an article that says the chipset is i finally have both linux and windows running so my next step is trying to install some special tools that linux desperately needs before it fries my processor

When i have linux look for the modem...it says "sorry, the modem is busy."  does this mean i might have a winmodem?
