Senor, I feel your pain. I got around this issue by doing the following ( no scripting needed ). I openned DrakConf and clicked on the startup icon (traffic light). Check pcmcia, dhcpd, postfix, cron - if they are not already checked - if dhcp is not available you can mount your cd and find the
