Hi all,

I installed MDK 8.1 on my laptop with 'linux noauto' and then installed
kernel-pcmcia-cs.
If I do a 'cardctl -ident' and look the output up at mobilix.org it seems I
have a Sitecom ethernet nic:

product info: "PCMCIA", "FastEthernet", "V", "1.0"
manfid: 0x021b, ox0202
function: 6 (network)

(although when I looked up the mac address somewhere, it said I had an NE2000
compatible)

/etc/sysconfig/pcmcia starts with:
pcmcia = yes
pcic = i82365
(because I edited it).

/etc/modules.conf has the right line in it.

/etc/pcmcia/config.opts mentions module "ray_cs", but there is a boot-up
message from cardmgr about 'axnet_cs'.

'probe' says:
PCI bridge probe: not found
Intel PCIC probe: not found
Databook TCIC-2 probe: not found

So something can see and even talk to the card, but I don't have the right
driver loaded? Or any driver at all?
Will I have to spring for a different card? I've looked at the PCMCIA HOWTO,
but it doesn't seem to be starting from where I am.

Richard
