The problem I am about to describe existed on RH 5.2 and now exists on Mandrake 6.1. The Mandrake was installed from scratch, not as an upgrade. I used Disk Druid to destroy 5.2's partition before repartitioning and installing Mandrake. I have installed Mandrake on a 4.3 Connor which is my 2nd o
