Hi, I cannot tell why the swap partition is not mounted. I list the fstab and the mtab files below. I have not touched these files since I installed LM 8.2 recently. Cant somebody tell me why the swap is not mounted? By the way, When I down installed LM 8.2, other partitions got formatted to ext3 but the install program did not appear to care about formatting the swap partition. so I did not tell it to format it. Any way, the fstab file was created automatically. So the installer knew the swap had to be mounted.
