You need to look at/edit the /etc/smb.conf file on the linux box. If you
make a change you will need to re-start the daemon's.
(/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb restart or stop and then start). One thing to watch
for is encrypted passwords. Window likes them. There is some help in
/usr/doc/samba-?.

Thanks for the assistance. I found the SWAT program and with some of the
text changes to the smb.conf file. All is working well - now.
Will have to figure out the NT domain integration stuff later. For now I
have the "sample" the programmers were after. And a day to spare!
