I'm running LM8.2 on a Dell laptop. An irritating problem is that whenever I
click on mnt in Konqueror it takes minutes to list its sub-directories. It
appears to freeze until it finally displays.

not way running up to speed, how do i set it up to run faster
( i have try to use webadmin it ok till i have to

That oughta get your hard drive going as bit faster.
2. recompile the kernel and get rid of everything you don't use. If

It's a Asus AV7, AMD 1000MHz, 256MB Ram, 3 Harddrives.
I magages to get the ATA100 to work, but it s l o w. It takes log time
before the program starts and it takes log time to start the computer.

connects at 115,000 and email is down and uploaded fairly fast, Netscape (I
