I am tring to telnet out of my Mandrake6.1 box to another machine "red61" on my local network. I keep getting hung at the following: [root@miah99 /home]# telnet red61 Trying 192.168.1.7... Connected to red61.lando. Escape character is '^]'. I can telnet to red61 using any computer but this one. I have reinstalled the telnet server and client but am getting the same result. However if i use the MDK box to telnet to the outside world it will work fine.
