I have a Linksys 4 port USB hub working under LM 7.2. My Zip drive works
fine through it. The only problem
never used linksys myself, i use a belkin and it works fine i also have some
generic piece of crap that werks good too

Try a Dlink 4 port hub. We had no problems at all with it.
