Thanks again.

I downloaded WP8 and followed the instruction for
installation. After the install, I typed "xwp". The program

this software will expire after 90 days. "etc. and asks me
for a license key. I can click on the button "Enter key

Hi all,
I went and did it. I set up Wordperfect 8. Looks great!!
But download.com fooled me!! It said that people with not a fast reliable
line should get the 7 parts separately.
I did so, and after more than an hour I could not install it, since it
was not complete.
So I downloaded it again

I have Wordperfect 8, but am stumped as to how I am supposed to install it.
It's on a cd, and apparently comes in two files, guil00.gz and guil01.gz (I
think - can't quite remember). I can browse into each of these files with
the KDE file explorer, but each one contains a lot of meaningless gubbin
I recently deleted WP 8 with rm -rf command and I was going to reinstall it,
but when I type the ./install.wp it tells me permission denied. I am logged
in as root, so thats not it. Any suggestions?

You can mailorder it from http://www.linuxmall.com, but you can also
download it at no charge from http://linux.corel.com. The download is
around 20 MB, though. The boxed version include
