Depends on the terminal program, with gnome-terminal right click
goto preferences image and select transparent. konsole gets into editing
some confs so i'll skip it (look in /usr/share/apps/konsole/). rxvt
uses a "-pixmap filename" approach. you'll have to check manpages and
-help/--help 's to ge
