Also be carefull not to choose Vsync and Hsync settings for your monitor that are to high...I just installed a Voodoo3PCI card and chose settings for my monitor that were to high and all I got for 1024x768 32bpp was a black screen...I dropped my settings down a notch and BAM there it was a lov

I've spent many an hour now trying to configure the Xfree86 that came with my Mandrake package, and the error message of choice seems to be: Fatal server error: No valid modes found. I attempted to reconfigure the xf86config file by making sure that all of the modes reflected the basic "640x48
