hiho all, I am wondering why i haven´t already read such a question here (or did i miss it ?). Anyway - as the subject says - how can i get rid of this graphical bootup screen - it SUCKS ! I want the normal text bootup back, black background and linux kernel messages floating down my screen.

hi.. I have seen on other's computers... how mandrake beautifully boots up... graphically... using pretty icons for each service started... and i was wondering how to go about changing the boot up... so it boots this way.. currently... the way mandrake 7.2 boots up for me... is just in text mod
