Thanks, works like a charm. I actually don't understand why Mandrake be
default chooses to hide all these details. And it's ugly I find. The lilo
bootup screen does look nice though, just not the graphical bootup. I
alwa
uninstalling the bootsplash worked in my case ... :)

I have seen on other's computers... how mandrake beautifully boots up...
graphically... using pretty icons for each service started... and i was
wondering how to go about changing the boot up... so it boots this way..
currently... the way mandrake 7.2 boots up for me... is just in text
