its possible you have to edit the /etc/fstab or mount manually every time 1. in /etc/fstab /dev/hda1 /dos_cvfatdefaults 0 0 (example) 2. mount manually mount /dev/hda1 -t vfat /dos_c (see man mount) don´t forget unmount with greatings
