Yes, but you have to take care when you update the kernel.
Kernels have to be in the first 8.4 GB of a harddisk. (This is not a Linux

Well, make a /boot partition to avoid the problem for LILO. Say
30 M, then a swap partition, which usually can be fairly small if you have
quite a bit of memory, say 127-300M, then you could use the rest for your
root (/) partition. Of course if you choose "Workstation", then instal

own partition inside the Linux partition, better(or it's easier) than to
use a second hard drive(Raw partition)
