you set up your modem to the correct terminal and it should work, some isp's
require pap authentication, othrs want chap, kppp defaults to pap, if it
doesn't work change it to chap and try again. you shouldn't need to go
this might be a stupid question but hey i am new to linux. when i am first
installing linux and it comes up to the part to set up your modem connection
and it asks to enter the following-
Connection Name= Phone Number=
Login Name= Login Password=
Authen
