Hi all, I recently burned a Mandrake 6.0 install CD from the ISO image I downloaded. When I go to install using lnx4win everything runs like a dream (much nicer than my last attempt to install RH5.1 and in under 10 minutes!!)... until it gets to the rebooting and after all the hardware is detected there's a long list of kernel conflicts something to do with vfat and the loopback system - filenames like modules/fat.o, modules/vfat.o, modules/boot/fat.o, modules/boot/vfat.o, modules/loop.o, modules/boot/loop.o There is always a conflict with the present kernel which is 2.2.9 - these files are associated with various other 2.2.x kernels. It then reports it can't find linuxsys.img and has a kernel panic all to itself - end of story. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know the cause, or more useful the cure? I KNOW THIS IS A BETA - but I like the idea and I'd love to get it going. Do I have to download the entire 6.1 beta to get it to go? If so, is there an ISO image of 6.1 anywhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Richard
