Hi all, I pulled down the ssl and ssh packages from the mandrake crypto
link.
The configure, compile and install happens withour complaint but
starting
sshd always gives me this error.

error: Could not load host key: /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key: Success
1: Since the daemon didn't start what does "Success" mean?
2: ssh_host_key does exist in that directory. I generated it using

ssh-keygen -f ssh_host_key, I also set the permissions to 600.

I'm guessing that I generated the key improperly, but this is my first
time trying to use ssh so I'm not sure how to approach the problem.

The online ssh.org etc.. seems to just assume that sshd will start :-)
not much help in the faq ot troubleshooting areas.

Thanks

chuck
