I think you mean F7.
It is not necessary to reboot unless you have just installed a new Linux
kernel.

1. From the Desktop type 'ctrl+alt+F1'
2. Login as root
3. Type 'urpmi.update -a'. then wait.
4. Type 'urpmi --auto-select' and follow the instructions.
