Hello, I have just gotten a Creative--Sound Blaster sound card and when I run
sound config it does not detect any PnP or PCI sound cards. It then asks me
to select my card. There are 5 different Sound Blaster cards but none seem
to work. It does ask for card settings which I do not know. An

Also can be used in Gnome. Just type kmix in the CLI and an icon window

I have a IBM300PL, a 200mmx box, and I am trying to get it to play a wav
file..
playwave /home/franki/sound.wav
it plays the first second, then it stops..
xmmx can play mp3's fine, the cdaudio works
but it won't play wav files.. its bizaar...
sndconfig finds the card, it play

mixer settings, the aRts soundserver, the
wow, my Audigy works great right out of the box in 8.2,
