sitting here this morning, got gaim, kmail, mozilla, and KsCD running, all of
the sudden the mozilla window closes. figured that was pretty odd. i go to
the kmail window, click on it, it closes. i turned off Gaim mysel
yslog. These should hold the key to what you are looking for.

With all the problems of Gnome and KDE, I'm rather glad I've strayed
away from the mainstream to make use of a "stable" window manager...aka
XFCE4...(tanx Slateman!)
