[newbie] uninstalling StarOffice?

I would like to uninstall staroffice, which I installed from the mandrake disctibution CD by clicking on its rpm which brought up "kpackage" which then installed it. However when I click on kpackage it tells me star office is not installed, even though it is. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. Jef
