Ok first I should of mentionned this is a hitachi notebook (MX133T) The only thing that is removable is the hardrive/floppy drive and the pcmcia cards there are no cards installed. When I get the setup program to detect them it detects

Does your BIOS see the hard drive you are trying to install
to? Is there already an OS on the drive and working?
