Ok, since i was having so many problems i did/got the following:
# urpmi.removemedia -ac
# rm -rf /var/cache/urpmi/
# rm -rf /var/lib/urpmi/
# mkdir /var/cache/urpmi
# mkdir /var/cache/urpmi/partial
# urpmi.removemedia
the entry to remove is missing

# cat /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg
# urpmi.addm
