I used Samba as packaged with 7.1 and it works fine out of the box...
You -MUST- enable encrypted passwords though... and set up the smbpasswd
file with smbadduser and smbpasswd.
Also the configuration of the domain controller is important.
|2: does it have any problems talking to dozy 2000.
Nope, works just fine. Even printing in both directions works...
|3: where can I get the missing lib.
Dunno what you are missing...
