In my case, everything works fine under Mandrake 7.1, except the USB
ports, but when installing 7.2 a lot of problems appears:
1. My CD-Recorder (Yamaha CRW8824E) just run to write CDs, not to read.
2. Usb are recognized but doesn't work
3. KDE applications are constantly giving error messages and hungs,
even using Gnome as window manager
4. Some of the resolutions of the Vodoo3 3000 don't work
5. The sound card gives some errors, you can play audio-cds and mp3,
but with kwintv or cabletv there is not sound.

Results: I had to reinstall 7.1 and now everything is going well (OK
the problem is still the usb)

The characteristics of my computer are the next ones:

MainBoard: WO2 Bus 133
Pentium III 800
HardDrive Quantum 30GB
Video CArd: 3dfx Voodoo3 3000
SoundCard: Creative SoundBlaster AudioPCI128
EthernetCard: Fast Ethernet PCI 10/100Base-TX (Ovislink, compatible
DC21143)
Hitachi DVD-ROM GD-7000
CD-ROM Yamaha CRW8824E
USB
TV Card: Avermedia TVCapture98
Modem Zoltrix FM-VSP56e
Monitor: Philips 107S
Printer: Epson Stylus Color 760

¿Do you think that the problem is with the Beta status of 7.2?
¿Perhaps is the problem also related with the XFree 4.0 an KDE 1.99?
In any case, I can't understand why the hardware detection is worse
than in the 7.1 version
