I got a solution from other side, and now I am on the internet from Linux. For possible other readers with the same problem:
log on in a root terminal session. execute: /sbin/route -n any line starting with 0.0.0.0 means that it is a default route which should be removed by /sbin/route del default Then by a text-editor open the file /etc/sysconfig/network and remove any linies beginning with GATEWAY or GATEWAYDEV Reboot, and now it works like a dream connecting with Kppp. Once again, thank you Kaj.
