You can parse out the orkut uid from the PROFILE_URL field as shown in
the following snippet.
You can paste this code into the dev app
(http://www.orkut.com/Main#Application.aspx?appId=291092957065)
and test it out:

The message just implies that the application has been submitted for
review. You should be hearing back from the reviewer in about 3 days.

I had submitted an application to orkut directory on Nov 14 ,
2008..from my sandbox account and i got this message
"http://www.xxx.com/application.xml added successfully!"
Then i logged into my another account which is not a sandbox account
and went to this url
http://www.orkut.com/Applica
Assuming that u had not submitted ur app as public... u wont see ur
app if u hv logged in from orkut.com even if its a developer
accnt...login from sandbox.orkut.com
