OK I think I fixed this myself - for some reason a 404 Not found error
is returned if there is a slight formatting error in a conditional
statement anywhere within the templates code. By stripping it right
down to the example shown above, it then worked, then I pasted the
tags back in, one line at
PS. This is happening on sandbox.orkut with a test application added
by xml URL. I've not tried it on our production app for obvious
reasons!

For the last two days I've been trying to get OS templates working on
my profile view and have been getting an error displayed in place of
