There is no where saying what version of open social does orkut
support.
The closeest thing I came across is:

It says 0.8 for orkut
So I m a bit shy to use 0.9 APIs, namely proxied content in orkut.

This is really weird. Making some tests here, it's randomically happening.
Tried:
Chrome on linux, didn't work.
Firefox on linux, works.
Chrome on windows, works.
Firefox on windows, works.
Which makes me think there're some servers facing this issue.
Will fill out a ticket for this issue, btw.

I checked your URL and here is the screenshot of what i saw on your
