This issue appears in the new Orkut UI design. Switching to the old
version fixes the problem.

I have added an application about 21 hours ago. I haven't received any
email yet.
Since Tiago told us that the part that takes longer is between
approval and featuring, I wonder if the orkut team is aware of this
delay.

We used 3 legged method as our application is one that send messages
in behave of someone. We send messages as far as the API server is not
asking for the captcha. But that is not enough for our application, We

Thanks for pointing this out to us. In general, like you said,
HttpClient4 uses connection pooling to handle resources better and is
the recommended way to go (please compare HttpClient4 with
URLConnectionClient). If it helps to use the latter to circumvent this
