I think it is some browser issue now. I still get a opensocial not
defined when I link my xml file. And also when I click your link it
gives me open social not defined errror. May be I am the only one with
such condition.

I tried the simple example for getting my own profile from
sandbox.orkut.com. I put the code in google gadget editor and tried to
publish it. Nothing appears in the gadget. I then tried to publish on
a webpage but still nothing.
