Guys,
I have been working on opensocial applications in orkut, myspace,
friendster, ning, hi5. I must say, orkut is by far the best opensocial
implementation there is. The makeRequest proxies work really well and
the specs are implemented as described.

I submitted an application to orkut which got approved over two weeks
back. But my application never got listed in the 'new additions' on
Application Directory homepage. I have seen other applications listed
there for multiple days at a stretch during this time.
This is unfair!
