Hi Guys, I am a Flex developer and planning to develop orkut offline AIR based application (a desktop runtime from Adobe) which allows user to login when he is online, download all his scrapbook, friends etc to his local machine. When user is offline, he can open my AIR application, login there (should I store credentials?) and see the scraps, friends etc (coz they are stored locally in SQLLite).
Few questions about this. 1) Can I develop an external desktop application which can retrieve orkut data? ofcourse, with authentication when online. 2) Is this legal? 3) Are there APIs which are available to do this? Any quick on above questions is highly appreciated. I am very new to the group and dont see any direction! Please help me.
