Good news: I figured out that in Google Project Hosting, I needed to go to Source>Browse>svn>trunk/helloworld.xml and then use the "view raw file" in the File Info area located on the right side of the screen. Doing that gives me a URL which Orkut likes and now I can see my test gadget running

Thanks for the reply, Bruno, I greatly appreciate it. Good news is, I found the new developer page instructions and that helped get me to the right area. Thanks again! Unfortunately, I'm still having issues with providing a URL that Orkut accepts so that I can display my simple test helloworld
