We had a glitch on app approval, all apps pending should be reviewed
by end of the day, 7/24.

Hi Wesley. Yes, this sounds good. For #1, you should try to glean any
personal information using the OpenSocial API rather than have users
potentially enter redundant information (e.g. gender, current
location, etc.).

recommendations from the OpenSocial Team and successfully tested them
all. But... I can't get the app to be updated! The URL remains the

times... However, it still works fine in the sandbox and doesn't work
at all in prod.sandbox.

wasn't tested thoroughly in http://prod.sandbox.orkut.com. Since
you're building against OpenSocial 0.7, you should be using
opensocial.DataRequest.PersonId -- the IdSpec object is not in the API
